Architectural Services for Residential Development

Our specialist experience in residential property includes design and alterations of period and listed buildings. We take a sympathetic but innovative approach to all properties in conservation areas.

We have a proven track record in obtaining listed building consent for many building alterations and improvements. We can add value to properties through change of use from commercial to residential use. For example, at Clare Street, City Centre we obtained consent to convert this Grade II vacant office space into four flats and at Queens Road, Clifton we also obtained consent to convert this Grade II vacant office space into for 6 flats.

We advise property developers or building owners who are looking to enhance the value of their building, which might involve change of use. For example, we converted and extended a traditional 3 bed house into four new flats of various sizes on Horfield Common, which added a lot of value to our clients' site.

Planning permission was obtained to convert a large Cotham town house into five flats and then on another large property in Cotham we built a pitched roof extension, which gained an extra floor of accommodation for our client.

We recently obtained planning permission to convert an Edwardian warehouse in Wetherell Place, Clifton into 5 residential units.
