Period Flat Extension • Clifton, Bristol

The entrance to this garden flat was through an unattactive timber framed shed, bolted to the side of this period building. The shed was demolished and a new structure built which extended out to the rear and helped link the flat to the garden.

The new accommodation included a large entrance hallway and then a spacious kitchen/living space, which overlooks the garden. A large roof light runs down the spine of the kitchen to catch sunlight and add drama to the space.

Client Comments

We are absolutely *loving* the space - it has completely transformed our use of the flat. It is no exaggeration to say it has completely impacted positively on our ability to simply relax and feel
’at home‚.

Sometimes I come home from work, look at our lovely new entrance and I have to pinch myself to remind myself it is real!

We can't thank you enough.
